Long-term business ownership

Good businesses deserve the right next chapter.

Fellbridge Holdings acquires established UK owner-managed businesses where the founder is beginning to think about succession.

We look for profitable businesses with good customers, capable teams and something worth preserving — then build on what already works.

Fellbridge Holdings is a long-term acquirer of established owner-managed businesses in England, with a particular interest in Cheshire and the North West.

What we look for

Businesses built to last

We are particularly interested in established B2B businesses where the owner is considering stepping back and wants to see the company continue under long-term ownership.

Fellbridge has a particular interest in businesses across Cheshire, the North West and surrounding regions, while considering suitable opportunities throughout England.

Typically

  • £500k–£5m turnover
  • Profitable or strongly cash generative
  • Established 15+ years
  • Loyal customers and repeat revenue
  • Capable employees or management already in place
  • UK based

Sectors of particular interest

  • Manufacturing
  • Engineering
  • Industrial supply
  • Wholesale and distribution
  • Specialist B2B services
  • Technical and operational businesses

We are not restricted to these sectors. A strong business with the right succession situation is always worth a conversation.

Situations we understand

Succession is not always straightforward

01

No family successor

The next generation may have chosen a different path.

02

Management cannot fund an MBO

The right people may already be inside the business without the capital to acquire it.

03

The owner wants to step back gradually

A transition does not always need to happen overnight.

04

Continuity matters

Employees, customers, suppliers and the reputation of the business may matter just as much as headline price.

Fellbridge is particularly interested in situations where a thoughtful, structured transition can create a better outcome for everyone involved.

Our approach

Preserve what works.
Improve what helps.

We are not looking to acquire businesses simply to cut costs, merge them into a larger group or sell them on again.

Our intention is long-term ownership.

That means understanding what made the business successful in the first place, retaining strong people and customer relationships, and improving systems, processes, commercial capability and management only where it genuinely makes the business stronger.

01

Continuity

Protect the relationships, knowledge and reputation already built.

02

Improvement

Introduce better systems, processes and commercial capability where they create real value.

03

Long-term ownership

Build sustainable businesses rather than preparing them for a quick resale.

About Hannah

Operator first.
Acquirer second.

Fellbridge Holdings was founded by Hannah Martin, an experienced SME operator with a background in business operations, e-commerce, process improvement, systems and commercial management.

Before establishing Fellbridge, Hannah spent six years within an owner-managed SME, ultimately running its day-to-day operations.

She later co-founded Business Impact Partners, working with owner-managed businesses to identify operational friction, strengthen processes and build practical systems around the way businesses actually work.

Fellbridge was created to apply that experience through long-term business ownership.

“I am looking for good businesses with something worth preserving — and owners who care about what happens next.”

— Hannah Martin, Founder

Transaction approach

Every succession is different

There is no single preferred transaction structure.

Depending on the circumstances of the business and the objectives of the owner, Fellbridge is open to discussing straightforward sales, phased transitions and structured or deferred consideration.

The first conversation is simply about understanding the business, the owner’s priorities and whether there may be a good fit.

Conversations are handled discreetly and with respect for the sensitivity of succession discussions.

Common questions

Questions business owners often ask

What kinds of businesses does Fellbridge consider?

Fellbridge considers established, profitable or strongly cash-generative owner-managed businesses. We are particularly interested in manufacturing, engineering, industrial supply, distribution and specialist B2B services, although a strong business outside these sectors may still be relevant.

Where does Fellbridge look for businesses?

We have a particular interest in Cheshire, the North West and surrounding regions, while considering suitable opportunities throughout England.

Does an owner need to be ready to sell immediately?

Does Fellbridge consider phased transitions?

Yes. Depending on the circumstances and the owner’s objectives, Fellbridge is open to discussing straightforward sales, gradual transitions and appropriately structured consideration.

Is Fellbridge a private-equity fund?

No. Fellbridge was created with the intention of acquiring and developing good businesses through long-term ownership rather than preparing them for a quick resale.

Can accountants, advisers and brokers contact Fellbridge?

Yes. Fellbridge welcomes discreet introductions from professional advisers representing owners who are beginning to consider succession.
